 Enemy Territory: DOOM Wars (my little idea for a mod XD)

well after playing some skulltag invasion, i got a mod idea for any ID tech 4 game that it would be possible to make one...anyway here is the idea


You will play as different marines from different places in this world (depending where)
Classes should be like any game.
Medic
Assault
Heavy Gunner
Support
Light Gunner (dunno name for these Guneers xD)
Demolitioner

weapons can be DOOM kind of weapons but somwthing better too (BFG should not be in game, too powerful :p)
Pistol
Assault Rifle (more like ET:QW kind or just improved M4)
Plasma Rifle (maybe the DOOM 1 plasma rifle look)
Heavy Machine Gun (no chaingun this time)
Small machine guns (SMG)
Grenade Launcher
Rocket Launcher
And some Turrets

there should be 2-3 different kind of Assault rifles and the SMG

the map should be ET:QW big maps or maybe a little smaller, aslong it gets some outdoor enviroment in different locations (Jungle, Desert, Forest, City and so on)

Veichle can be something good in this, well should probably be normal military jeeps, a tank and maybe a normal car XD

Now to the demons.

if youve playd the mod Fragging Free, you can control demons and use their skills, wich was a very unique thing in a mod.

The demons should be all the original demons from the DOOM games BUT only some of them can be controlled, if a player wants to play as a demon.

Hell Knight
Baron of Hell (should be added and playable)
Imp
Wraith
Arch Vile
Revenant
Commando (the chaingunner thingy)

this is just these i can think of that would be good to play as

the game would be the type of Invasion with number of wave, if the player amount would be around 10-20 players the numbers of monster should be 300-1000 of them each wave

and at last wave, there should be a boss wich will be a very strong hell knight or the classic bosses Cyber Demon (first boss in doom 1) and Spider Mastermind (last boss in doom 1)


so.....what do everyone think of this? :) and nooo i would never mod, its hard :p this was just an idea :)

LOOL yeah i would start working with it XDD but i dunno how to mod :p already tried and failed XD still, dunno a good game it would be good for :p so this is just an idea anyone can use XD BUT should be made for ID tech 4 games O:!!!

c'mon, you're 16!!! learn some coding and modding and you'll finish the mod in less then ONE decade...

But really, you got to start something before you're good at it.

then the question is....what engine would it even work on...would want it on doom 3 but wouldnt work...or i can just make it a WAD for doom 1 or 2

If you create a total conversion of doom3 (like FMJ e. g.) you can do virtually anything

i want ET:QW type of maps and viechles, but want invasion with Doom type of monsters and some of the old orginal doom montsers with its looks, yes doom 3 can have viechles but its just not good made then and drive able, and i need the mega texture maps and once again....i have no idea how to make own maps, own weapons, mosnters and so on ._.
