Well, i think changing the clocks in spring shouldn´t be done any more.

But you´d still have to get up in the dark in fall!!!

its because the school children, the reason for daylight savings time is because they dont want kids going to school in the dark. Its seems crazy, but its that simple

i was under the impression that daylight saving in the summer was introduced during the 2nd world war where clocks were put forward 2 hours to maximise daylight hours to help in the war effort.it stayed light untill 1100pm,to help industry ect, after the war they kept daylight saving but only for 1 hour. i could be wrong but im sure it wasnt 1972

Wintertime is what we call "Sonnenzeit" ~ 'sun time'. In winter the sun is exactly in the south at noon! During summertime it´s not. Summertime was created, so the factories can be run later without switching on the lights.

Kids have always and will always go to school in the dark in winter.
